Su padre, arquitecto, le dio sus primeros lápices. Tras titularse como arquitecto el también, Paweł Jońca, cambió de propósito, decidió buscar su propio camino y convertirse en ilustrador a tiempo completo. Trabaja creando ilustraciones para revistas, portadas de libros y carteles.
